Project Cog – Engon Games
This is the major game project for AIE sydney year 2 games course.
I was one of the environment artist and did a lot of modeling, texturing and In engine shaders. The assets concepts, models, colors and how they should look overall where discuses heavily between all team members when I created an asset.

Models I have created for the project within Maya.
Texture file within each are the mostly base Diffuse, normal and specular maps. additional I created masks and alpha maps aswell to help build the shaders later on in engine. Some assets share a texture so they got put in folders together.

The workflow I used to create assets in this project was to start modeling in Maya followed by texturing in Photoshop before putting it in engine. For example the Moving Platform.

Hand painted diffuse in Photoshop. The color was adjusted again later in engine using shaders to refine the color we wanted.
Hand painted in Photoshop for the laser that goes through the platform showing start and end of the platforms movement. Works using a line render in unity.
